Making sense of the A,B, C’s of Medicare
Medicare is confusing and can be a complicated topic to understand. To make it easier let us break it down into individual parts.
Part A – Hospital Coverage
Medicare Part A covers inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facility, hospice, lab tests, surgery, home health care.
Part B – Doctor and Outpatient Services
Medicare Part B covers doctor and other health care providers’ services and outpatient care. Part B also covers durable medical equipment, home health care, and some preventative services.
